This little girl has three of the most loving, doting, and fun women in her life.  She is surrounded by love and is going to live a life of adventure.

TWO

Little Miss Tessa was the epitome of TWO at this session.  She wanted to do things her way, and that was it.  Luckily I had a special stool just for her and we were able to get some great pictures.  Her little brother, Crosby, was the easiest, most laid-back little guy.  He just hung out and took it all in.

 

Wild Goose Chase - Maple Grove Family Photographer

I had a fun session with the Aasen Family. We explored a nature center, searching for the right bridges.  We finally found them at the end of the session, and the boys loved watching the geese and the trains.  One goose was really interested in the boys' snacks and decided to hop onto the bridge...luckily we had just finished taking pictures, because it was getting way too close!

Sweet Baby Girl

Yep, it's I Heart Faces time again.  This week the theme is Soft & Sweet and, of course, there are going to be a lot of newborn pictures.  So, here's my entry.  I love simple and clean newborn pictures that showcase the pureness of a new baby.  There's nothing in the world as sweet.

Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice... - Minneapolis Newborn Photographer

That's what little girls are made of!  I've been so lucky and have had three newborn girl sessions in the past few weeks.  There's nothing sweeter than a newborn baby girl.  I have two boys, and LOVE having boys, but I really enjoy taking pictures of girls and all their frills.

So, without futher adieu, meet Baby Girl Finley. She is a beautiful newborn!  And she is special to me because this is the first time that I did a maternity session for her mom and then got to meet her as a newborn.  But, boy, she did NOT want to sleep.  I have so many pictures of her yawning.  Mom and Dad worked hard to get her to sleep, and she finally dozed off towards the end of the session as Mom and Dad were holding her together.

Meet Baby Joia.  She's the third of three girls, so she's got a lot of fun times ahead of her!  She's a beautiful baby and it was a treat to capture these pictures of her.

Happy Boy!

 A few weeks ago I got to take pictures of the happiest six-month old.  He was such a fun boy!  Plus, his hats are great! And I love this age for pictures!  There's not much better than a smiley baby that can sit-up, but still can't move anywhere.
